Cornwell, 19, debuted for Middlesex in this season’s Vitality Blast against Kent Spitfires and took his first wicket for Middlesex at Lord’s against Glamorgan. The left-arm quick, highly regarded and having progressed through the Club’s youth setup, has impressed in the Middlesex Second Eleven since his debut in 2021 and has made six more appearances. He has also played in the Second Eleven T20 competition, making 10 appearances since 2022.

England will play three Youth ODIs between 28th June and 3rd July, followed by two unofficial Test matches, with the squad to be announced later.
