1. About Us

We are proud of our reputation as a family-orientated, sociable club. If you are keen to support Radlett Cricket Club, why not become a Social Member and be part of the Radlett Cricket Family. Cricket is non-stop during the summer with Radlett teams playing some 300 matches. We are open to members all year round for many and varied social activities and events.

Mens Teams: four Saturday league sides compete in the Saracens Herts League. The first team regularly challenge for the Premier League title.

Young Players: well over 200 boys and girls, age 6 to 15, attend Sunday morning coaching sessions and play age-group matches. Each year, we have several teams emerge as County Champions. Coaching and matches from April to July, run by a band of volunteer parents and supported by our team of qualified cricket coaches.

Women's Cricket: We are gradually rebuilding our Women's Cricket. Currently, we have teams at U13 and U15 level, but aspire to restart a senior side as soon as possible.

Location - on the north-western fringes of London - only 15 miles from Marble Arch - less than 30 minutes on the Thameslink train line from central London - yet in the Hertfordshire countryside. CLICK HERE for the Google satellite view of our ground.

First-class Facilities: We have a fine cedar wood, balconied pavilion overlooking what is officially a first-class pitch that provides a home for Middlesex County Cricket Club. A second pitch sits adjacent to the main ground with its own changing rooms and electronic scoreboard. We have some of the newest outdoor nets in the county. Middlesex play many of their RL50 and T20 matches here, plus 2nd XI and Sunriser matches.

You can hire our facilities for just about any function you care to mention. Arrange that special cricket match or corporate cricket match, hold a party in our attractive pavilion with bar with full catering facilities, run a corporate training session or a new product launch in our unique environment. With our proximity to London, good rail links, only a few miles from the M1 and the M25, we have not only an ideal facility but also an ideal location. A link to our brochure can be found on the home page.

Some of our most eminent 1st Class players - Douglas Jardine, Donald and John Carr, Richard Hutton, Doug Yeabsley - all played for Radlett as amateurs. In recent years, we have employed a paid professional to play and coach, notably Zimbabwe test captain Dave Houghton and South African all-rounder (former Scotland Coach and now part of the Somerset Coaching staff) Shane Burger.

We are always looking to provide cricket for more players - men, ladies, young players (boys and girls) - everyone is guaranteed a warm welcome. And don't forget, you can also join as a social member - come and join the serious, the fun and the family atmosphere that is Radlett Cricket.
